Bofo Bautista is a retired Mexican professional soccer player who was known for his time playing as a forward for various clubs in Mexico and the United States national team. He was born on May 22, 1979, in Tuxpan, Jalisco, Mexico.
Bautista began his professional career with Mexican club Guadalajara in 1999 and quickly became a fan favorite due to his goal-scoring ability and flashy style of play. He went on to have successful stints with various Mexican clubs, including Chiapas, Puebla, and Queretaro.
In addition to his success at the club level, Bautista also represented the Mexico national team, earning 45 caps and scoring 11 goals. He was a part of the Mexican squad that competed in the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan.
